High Desert Band is an acoustic group whose repertoire ranges from the Celtic roots of old-time mountain music to Bluegrass, Folk, Cowboy and Comedy. Combining intricate vocal harmonies with toe-tapping Irish and Appalachian fiddle tunes and an ever growing catalogue of original songs, we fuse traditional songs and music with our own progressive touch, resulting in an upbeat, creative mix of old and new.
High Desert's performances are family friendly, with plenty of songs to please young and old alike. If you're not smiling, you weren't listening!
The band formed in 2003 and stays busy performing at music festivals, local farmer's markets, parties and weddings. Whatever the occasion, high desert establishes a warm, personal connection with each audience.
