High Desert Band is an acoustic group whose repertoire ranges from the Celtic roots of old-time mountain music to Bluegrass, Folk, Cowboy and Comedy. Combining intricate vocal harmonies with toe-tapping Irish and Appalachian fiddle tunes and original instrumental and vocal numbers, they fuse old songs and music with their own progressive touch, resulting in an upbeat, creative mix of old and new.
The band formed in 2003 and stays busy performing at music festivals, local farmer's markets, parties and weddings. Whatever the occasion, high desert establishes a warm, personal connection with each audience.
