February 2012 The latter half of 2011 saw the band personnel shift as Robin Davis Harren signed on as full time committed fiddle, replacing Kayleigh and Dave, who had shared the position but had many other priorities and commitments. Also joining us are Mike and Donna Bond, on Banjo and Bass. Mike and Donna have played in several bluegrass bands over the last many years, notably Ragged But Right, and The Buckhorn Mountain Boys, both serious and successful local area groups. Rand Thompson, who has played with Jerry for many years, and weekly with High Desert during our Thursdays at White Water Pizza for the last several years, has turned full time now as well. Rand playes guitar and shares the lead vocal work with Randy, bringing a great variety of traditional and familiar bluegrass songs to our repertoir. For 2012, you will see a revitalized High Desert Band, striving to deliver polished and entertaining performances wherever we find ourselves. We hope to find you there as well! Happy Trails, Randy
